Lisa Lebofsky’s paintings explore our emotional and physical relationship with nature.
In her artist statement she writes:
Lebofsky holds her BFA in metals from SUNY New Paltz, and MFA in painting from New York Academy of Art. In addition to solo and group exhibitions, her work has been exhibited in museums and universities. She is the recipient of several awards and her work has been featured in several reputable publications.
Lisa is a nomadic, plein air painter who documents such vulnerable places as Antarctica, Newfoundland and the Maldives. Her poetic vision on issues of conservation and climate change adds a meaningful message to our Gallery's talented stable of artists.
