Arranz-Bravo a Cadaqués
February 14, 2019 – May 5, 2019
Fundació Arranz-Bravo, L’Hospitalet, Spain
This exhibition explores Eduardo Arranz-Bravo’s association with the artists and culture of the last Golden Age of Cadaqués. In the 1950s, this Spanish coastal town attracted a group of international artists that paved the way for massive experimentation and productivity, particularly in the 1970s and 1980s when Arranz-Bravo lived and worked there. During this period, his work became more experimental and multi-faceted as he collaborated with other artists and worked in multiple media. The exhibition also includes works by some of Arranz-Bravo’s close friends from the period, including Richard Hamilton and Dieter Roth.
